Yardley Gorgeous Competition 2025 

1. This Yardley Gorgeous Competition (“Competition”) is organised and conducted by NBL Botswana (Pty) Ltd (situated in the Republic of Botswana), (“Promoter”) a subsidiary of the AVI Limited Group of companies (a public company registered in the Republic of South Africa) including their affiliates, partners, associations, and agents, with the assistance of their agency, Amped Activations (“Agency”).

2. This Competition is an in-store competition. The Competition starts on Monday, 1 September 2025 and ends on Sunday, 30 November 2025. Entries received after the indicated closing date will not be considered.

WHO CAN ENTER? 

3. Participants must be 18 (eighteen) years or older and have a valid identity document or passport and reside in the Republic of Botswana during the period of the Competition (“Participants”/“you”/“your”). Participants under the age of 18 (eighteen) years must be fully assisted by their parent/legal guardian, who approves of and consents to the Participant’s participation in the Competition and the Participant’s receipt/possession of a Prize.

4. Participants may not enter or receive a Prize if they are directors, members, partners, employees, agents of or consultants of the Promoter, their subsidiaries, holding companies, divisions and/or associated companies; or of the advertising or promotion agencies or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the Promoter, or their spouses, life partners, immediate family members or business partners.

5. By entering this Competition, all Participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, and the Promoter’s decision regarding any issue with the Competition will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.

6. This is an in-store competition. Participants will have to WhatsApp their entry to the Promoter and will incur no charge other than normal data charges. WhatsApp’s that do not get delivered answered, may be billed by your service provider. Potential winners will be determined randomly in accordance with clause 20. All potential winners will be contacted in accordance with clause 21. Prizes will be delivered in accordance with clauses 23, 24, and 25.

7. No responsibility will be accepted for any entry that is not delivered, received, or is delayed or damaged due to technical reasons, including telecommunications failures on the part of the Participant’s service provider, or otherwise. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt.

HOW TO ENTER 

9. To enter the Competition you need to:

a. Buy any variant of Yardley® Gorgeous® female body spray 90 ml or any variant of Yardley® Gorgeous® roll-on deodorant 50 ml product;

b. Retain your original till slip as proof of purchase;

c. WhatsApp YARDLEY to +267 71 205 721.

10. Multiple entries from the same Participant are allowed provided each entry is associated with a separate purchase. All entries will be entered into each draw, including the draw for the Grand Prize.

11. Participants are responsible for their own costs of purchasing the participating products and/or entering the Competition.

12. Only entries that comply with all the entry criteria will be accepted.

13. All correct and complete entries will qualify for entry into the Competition.

PRIZES 

14. The Prizes comprise:

a. 6 x SPA full body massage and facial vouchers to the value of P1 200.00 (One Thousand Two Hundred Pula) each;

b. 6 x cash Prizes to the value of P1 000.00 (One Thousand Pula) each; and

c. 1 Grand Prize of 1 x weekend trip for 2 persons for 2 nights (Friday and Saturday) to Cresta Mowana Safari Resort and Spa, to the value of approximately P25 500.00 (Twenty Five Thousand Five Hundred Pula) including: i. Economy flights for 2 persons from the airport of choice for the winner in Botswana (departure airport), to Kasane Airport;

ii. Transfer from Kasane Airport to Cresta Mowana Safari Resort and Spa;

iii. Accommodation for 2 persons sharing;

iv. All meals;

v. 1 x spa visit for 2 persons; and

vi. 1 (one) activity to be chosen by the winner, with a choice between a boat ride or a game drive.

d. The Grand Prize referred to in 14(c) above, does not include: i. Spending money;

ii. Transport to and from the departure airport.

15. The total value of the Prizes is approximately P38 700.00 (Thirty Eight Thousand Seven Hundred Pula).

16. Participants will be required to present their original till slip as proof of purchase as a condition of being awarded a Prize.

17. The Prizes are not transferable or negotiable.

18. Other than as set out above, the Prizes do not cover any costs of the winners whatsoever.

DETERMINATION OF WINNERS 

19. Competition entries will be captured electronically as Participants enter through the designated WhatsApp line. As entries are received, they will be recorded and assigned unique entry numbers in chronological order, e.g., 1, 2, 3. A computerized random number generator will be used to select entry numbers. These numbers will be matched to the corresponding entries to identify potential winners. The selected potential winners will then be verified by checking the submitted till slips to ensure they have made the correct purchase and within the duration of the Competition.

20. Winners will be determined weekly by way of a random draw done by the Agency in accordance with the following timetable, provided however that this timetable is subject to change in the Promoter’s sole discretion should circumstances dictate –

CONTACTING THE WINNERS 

21. The potential winners will be contacted telephonically by the Agency on the telephone number used to enter the Competition and informed that they have been identified as potential winners. They will be required to answer verification questions (which may include but not be limited to providing the original till slip and a copy of their identity document) before they are confirmed as winners. Once the Agency has verified the potential winners’ original till slips and identity documents, the Prizes will be awarded. Potential winners who are unable to provide their verification documents will automatically be disqualified from the Competition and a replacement potential winner will be drawn. 

22. If a selected potential winner cannot be telephonically contacted within 3 (three) months of the draw date, or a potential winner fails to provide the Agency with the required documents and information after having been contacted, such potential winner will, 3 (three) months after the draw date, be disqualified as a potential winner, forfeit all potential Prizes and a replacement potential winner will be drawn. 

23. Payment of the cash Prizes to the winners will be made by way of electronic funds transfer directly to the winner’s bank account or to an alternative bank account nominated by the winner if the winner does not hold their own bank account. 

24. SPA vouchers will be sent electronically to the Winners to the cellular telephone number used by them to enter the Competition. 

25. Arrangements will be made with the Grand Prize winner for redemption of the Prize. 

26. Prize winners may be required to provide written acknowledgement of receipt of their Prize. 

27. The Promoter reserves the right to select alternative winners in the event that they reasonably believe, in their sole discretion, that: (i) a winner is not eligible to win; (ii) a winner has contravened any of these terms and conditions; (iii) a winner has acted in a manner that is not in the spirit of the Competition; (iv) a winner’s conduct can be reasonably interpreted as scamming or circumventing the rules of the Competition; (v) a winner has acted fraudulently with regards to the Competition; (vi) it would be unlawful to award the Prize; or (vii) if the winner fails to accept the Prize after 3 (three) attempts for any reason whatsoever, or if after first being contacted by the Promoter, is not reachable, or the winner fails to provide the Promoter with the required information to verify the entry or to hand over the Prize. In these instances, the winner will be disqualified and forfeit the Prize. The Promoter’s decision shall be final, and no correspondence will be entered into. 

28. The Promoter reserves the right to announce the winners’ names publicly or on such electronic sites as it may choose, including but not limited to the Promoter’s websites, social media pages and on air. Entry into this Competition is deemed to be consent by Participants to announce their names publicly. 

PUBLICITY AND DATA PRIVACY 

29. Other than as provided in clause 28, winners have the right to decline permission to use their name or image in marketing material or participate in any marketing activity, failing which the Promoter has the right to use their name or image in marketing material or any marketing activity without any liability to the Promoter or remuneration due to the winners. 

30. By entering, a Participant acknowledges that personal information about the Participant will be shared with the Promoter and their agents to the extent necessary to conduct the Competition and for Prizes to be delivered to winners. 

31. Should the Participant have elected to receive marketing communication from the Promoter and other AVI Limited Group brands, the Participant’s contact details will form part of the Promoter’s database and they will receive marketing communication on, including but not limited to, upcoming promotions, competitions and offers related to AVI Limited Group brands. The Participant’s personal information will be shared with the AVI Limited Group brands and their agents to the extent necessary to ensure they receive this communication either via email or SMS, and for Prizes to be delivered to winners, for example. Should a Participant wish to remove their details from this database at any stage, please select the opt-out option made available to you or contact the Promoter’s consumer care line. 

32. Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to, or must be understood to, unlawfully restrict, limit or avoid any rights or obligations, as the case may be, created for either the Participant or the Promoter in terms of the law of the Republic of Botswana should any terms or conditions be found to be in conflict with any laws, they will be severable from the remaining terms and conditions contained herein. 

GENERAL 

33. All publicity materials will be the sole property of the Promoter. 

34. Please note that the following terms require you to take on risk, limit the liability of the Promoter and indemnify the Promoter. Please read them carefully and contact the Promoter if you have any questions! 

35. In the event that the Promoter needs to shorten, extend, suspend the time period of the Competition, terminate the Competition, change the Prizes, or change these terms and conditions for technical, commercial, or operational reasons, or for reasons beyond its control, application will be made to the Gambling Authority in terms of the Gambling (Promotional Competitions) Regulations, 2023, and any changes authorised by the Gambling Authority will be communicated to consumers and Participants. 

36. To the fullest extent permitted by law, by participating, the Participant indemnifies, releases and agrees to hold harmless the Promoter, their associated, holding and subsidiary companies, and its directors, officers, agents, representatives, shareholders, employees, successors and assigns from any and all claims or liability arising from participating in the Competition, any Competition-related activity and/or acceptance, receipt, possession or use/misuse of any Prize. 

37. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter will not be liable in any way whatsoever, for any claims arising from loss, injury, damage, or costs, suffered by a Participant in relation to this Competition or the Prizes offered, including but not limited to claims relating to defects in the Prizes or any losses caused by such defects or losses arising from incorrect or inaccurate information supplied by Participants. 

38. The Promoter will not be liable for any loss suffered because of incomplete or incorrect information provided. 

39. Participants confirm by their entry into the Competition that the brand owners of any of the Prizes are not promoters of this Competition; it is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by or associated with the brand owners of any of the Prizes; and they fully release the brand owners of the Prizes from any liability in connection with this Competition, other than any product liability that may arise and subsist in terms of relevant consumer protection laws. 

40. The laws of the Republic of Botswana shall govern these competition terms and conditions.

WIN-SUM-MOR COMPETITION 2026 TERMS AND CONDITIONS
  1. This Win-Sum-Mor Competition (“Competition”) is organised and conducted by Zambian Brands Limited (situated in the Republic of Zambia) (“Promoter”), a subsidiary of AVI Limited (a public company registered in the Republic of South Africa) including their affiliates, partners, associations and agents, with the assistance of their media partner, Phoenix FM (“Media Partner”).
 
  1. This Competition is an in-store and on-radio (Phoenix FM) competition. The Competition starts on Friday, 1 May 2026 and ends on Friday, 31 July 2026. Entries received after the indicated closing date will not be considered.
  WHO CAN ENTER?
  1. Participants must be 18 (eighteen) years or older and have a valid identity document or passport and reside in the Republic of Zambia during the period of the Competition (“Participants”/“you”/“your”). Participants under the age of 18 (eighteen) years must be fully assisted by their parent/legal guardian, who approves of and consents to the Participant’s participation in the Competition and the Participant’s receipt/possession of a prize.
 
  1. Participants may not enter or receive a prize if they are directors, members, partners, employees, agents of or consultants of the Promoter, their subsidiaries, holding companies, divisions and/or associated companies; or of the advertising or promotion agencies or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the Promoter, or their spouses, life partners, immediate family members or business partners.
 
  1. By entering this Competition, all Participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, and the Promoter’s decision regarding any issue with the Competition will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
 
  1. This is a WhatsApp (in-store) and call-in (on-radio) entry Competition. You have to either send a WhatsApp message from a cellular telephone or call in to the radio station. WhatsApp entry from a landline is not possible. Standard WhatsApp and cellular rates apply. All entries, including incomplete entries, may be billed by your service provider. The Promoter shall not be responsible for telecommunication failures on the part of your service provider.
 
  1. No responsibility will be accepted for any entry that is not delivered, received or is delayed or damaged due to technical reasons, including telecommunications failures on the part of the Participant’s service provider, or otherwise. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt.
  HOW TO ENTER
  1. The Participating Products are:
 
  • Bakers® sweet or savoury biscuits and crackers, all variants, all pack sizes;
  • Five Roses® tea, all variants, all pack sizes; and
  • House of Coffees® Hug-in-a-Mug®, all variants, all pack sizes.
 
  1. To enter the in-store Competition Participants need to:
 
  • Buy 1 (one) or more of the Participating Products in any variant or pack size;
 
  • WhatsApp a photograph of the till slip to 097 889 5895; and
 
  • Retain the original till slip as proof of purchase of the Products.
 
  1. To enter the on-radio Competition Participants need to –
 
  • Call into Phoenix FM segment when prompted to do so by the radio host between 06h00 and 09h00 every weekday and on the telephone number provided on air; and
 
  • Participate in quizzes, games, and themed challenges and answer the question asked by the radio host.
 
  1. Multiple entries from the same Participant are allowed provided each in-store entry is associated with a separate purchase.
 
  1. For the in-store Competition Participants are responsible for their own costs of purchasing the Participating Products and sending the entry messages.
 
  1. Only entries that comply with all the entry criteria will be accepted.
 
  1. Entries generated by any form or automated means that subvert the entry process or do not conform to the terms or spirit of the Competition rules, may void the entry and may disqualify the Participant.
 
  1. The cellular telephone number used to enter the in-store Competition will be deemed to be the cellular telephone number of the Participant.
 
  1. All correct and complete entries will qualify for and be entered into all draws, including the grand prize draw.
  PRIZES
  1. For the in-store Competition, 13 (thirteen) winners will each win 1 (one) x Samsung Galaxy M17 smartphones to the value of approximately K5 626.00 (Five Thousand Six Hundred and Twenty-Six Kwacha) each.
 
  1. For the on-radio Competition, 66 (sixty-six) winners will each win 1 (one) x Bakers® product hamper to the value of approximately K1 000.00 (One Thousand Kwacha) each.
 
  1. The total value of the prizes for both the in-store and on radio Competitions, is approximately K139 138.00 (One Hundred and Thirty-Nine Thousand One Hundred and Thirty-Eight Kwacha).
 
  1. Potential prize winners for the in-store component of the Competition will be required to present their original till slip as proof of purchase as a condition of being awarded a prize. Potential winners without their original till slip will automatically be disqualified.
 
  1. The prizes are not transferable or negotiable.
 
  1. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prizes for alternative prizes of equal or greater value should the prizes not be available due to unforeseen circumstances.
 
  1. The prizes may differ from that shown on the promotional material with regard to illustrations, images, colour, and specifications, and same shall be subject to availability and be in the Promoter’s sole discretion to select same.
 
  1. The prizes do not cover any costs of the winners whatsoever.

Draw Dates On-Radio Prizes
Every weekday from Friday, 1 May 2026 to Friday, 31 July 2026, both days inclusive 1 x Bakers® product hamper per weekday, to the value of approximately K1 000.00 each
 
  1. For the on-radio component of the Competition, winners will be determined and announced live on air daily. The successful callers who answer the on-radio question will be selected as the potential daily winners.
CONTACTING THE WINNERS
  1. Potential winners will be required to answer verification questions (which may include but not be limited to providing the original till slip and a copy of their identity document) before they are confirmed as winners.
 
  1. Once the Promoter has verified the potential winners’ documents, the prizes will be awarded. Potential winners who are unable to provide required verification documents will automatically be disqualified from the Competition and a replacement potential winner will be drawn.
 
  1. The Media Partner will telephonically make 3 (three) attempts within 48 (forty-eight) hours to contact the potential winners of the in-store Competition. If a selected potential winner cannot be telephonically contacted personally after 3 (three) attempts, or if after first being contacted by the Media Partner, is not reachable, or a potential winner fails to provide the Media Partner with the required documents and information, such potential winner will be disqualified as a potential winner, forfeit all potential prizes and a replacement potential winner will be drawn.
 
  1. Delivery of the prizes will be arranged with each winner individually.
 
  1. Prize winners may be required to provide acknowledgement of receipt of their prize.
 
  1. Should the Participant have elected to receive marketing communication from the Promoter and other AVI Limited Group brands, the Participant’s contact details will form part of the Promoter’s database, and they will receive marketing communication on, including but not limited to, upcoming promotions, competitions and offers related to AVI Limited Group brands. The Participant’s personal information will be shared with the AVI Limited Group brands and their agents to the extent necessary to ensure they receive this communication either via email or SMS, and for prizes to be delivered to winners, for example.   1. The Promoter reserves the right to shorten, extend, suspend the period of the Competition or terminate the Competition whenever it should so choose for technical, commercial, or operational reasons, or for reasons beyond its control. The Competition, its prizes, and these terms and conditions, may be amended by the Promoter, at any time during the Competition for reasons beyond its control. Any changes to the Competition, including termination thereof, will be communicated to Participants. In such an event, all Participants waive any rights that they may have/purport to have in terms of this Competition and acknowledge that they will have no recourse against the Promoter whatsoever.
 
  1. To the fullest extent permitted by law, by participating, the Participant indemnifies, releases and agrees to hold harmless the Promoter, their associated, holding and subsidiary companies, and its directors, officers, agents, representatives, shareholders, employees, successors and assigns from any and all claims or liability arising from participating in the Competition, any Competition-related activity and/or acceptance, receipt, possession or use/misuse of any prize.
   
  1. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter will not be liable in any way whatsoever, for any claims arising from loss, injury, damage or costs, suffered by a Participant in relation to this Competition or the prizes offered, including but not limited to claims relating to defects in the prizes or any losses caused by such defects or losses arising from incorrect or inaccurate information supplied by Participants.
 
  1. The Promoter will not be liable for any loss suffered because of incomplete or incorrect information provided.
 
  1. By their entry into the competition participants confirm that Samsung® is not the promoter of this competition, which is in no way sponsored or administered by, or associated with Samsung® and they fully release Samsung® from any liability in connection with this competition. Any questions, comments, or complaints regarding the competition are to be directed to the Promoter. Any product warranties attaching to the prizes from Samsung® will transfer to the winners.
 
  1. The laws of the Republic of Zambia shall govern these competition terms and conditions.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS Perfect Together Competition
  1. This Perfect Together Competition (“Competition”) is organised and conducted by NBL Botswana (Pty) Ltd (situated in the Republic of Botswana), (“Promoter”) a subsidiary of the AVI Limited Group of companies (a public company registered in the Republic of South Africa) including their affiliates, partners, associations, and agents, with the assistance of their agency, Amped Activations (“Agency”).
 
  1. This Competition is an in-store competition, which will be supported by a radio campaign on Yarona FM. The Competition starts on Friday, 1 May 2026 and ends on Friday, 31 July 2026. Entries received after the indicated closing date will not be considered.
  WHO CAN ENTER?
  1. Participants must be 18 (eighteen) years or older and have a valid identity document or passport and reside in the Republic of Botswana during the period of the Competition (“Participants”/“you”/“your”). Participants under the age of 18 (eighteen) years must be fully assisted by their parent/legal guardian, who approves of and consents to the Participant’s participation in the Competition and the Participant’s receipt/possession of a prize.
 
  1. Participants may not enter or receive a prize if they are directors, members, partners, employees, agents of or consultants of the Promoter, their subsidiaries, holding companies, divisions and/or associated companies; or of the advertising or promotion agencies or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the Promoter, or their spouses, life partners, immediate family members or business partners.
 
  1. By entering this Competition, all Participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, and the Promoter’s decision regarding any issue with the Competition will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
 
  1. This is an in-store competition, which will be supported by a radio campaign on Yarona FM. Participants will have to WhatsApp their entries to the Promoter and/or radio station and will incur no charge other than normal data charges. WhatsApp’s that do not get delivered, may be billed by your service provider. Potential winners will be determined randomly in accordance with clause 18. All potential winners will be contacted and/or notified in accordance with clause 20. All cash prizes will be paid by electronic funds transfers and arrangements will be made with winners individually for delivery of product hamper prizes.
 
  1. No responsibility will be accepted for any entry that is not delivered, received, or is delayed or damaged due to technical reasons, including telecommunications failures on the part of the Participant’s service provider, or otherwise. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt.
  HOW TO ENTER
  1. To enter the Competition Participants need to:
 
  1. Buy any 2 (two) or more of the following products (“Participating Products”):

  1. Multiple entries from the same Participant are allowed provided each entry is associated with separate purchases.
 
  1. Participants are responsible for their own costs of purchasing the Participating Products and/or entering the Competition.

  1. All correct and complete entries will qualify for entry into the Competition.
  PRIZES

  1. Other than as set out above, the prizes do not cover any costs of the winners whatsoever.
  DETERMINATION OF WINNERS
  1. Entries will be captured electronically as participants enter through the designated WhatsApp line and, when prompted by the automated system, will need to send a photograph of their till slip and their name. As entries are received, they will be recorded and assigned unique entry numbers in chronological order, e.g., 1, 2, 3. A computerized random number generator will be used to select entry numbers. These numbers will be matched to the corresponding entries to identify potential winners. The selected potential winners will then be verified by checking the submitted till slips to ensure they have made the correct purchase and within the duration of the Competition.
 
  1. Subject to the approval of the Gambling Authority, the winners of the Competition will be determined weekly in accordance with paragraph 18 by way of a draw done by the Agency in accordance with the following timetable, provided however that this timetable is subject to change in the Promoter’s sole discretion should circumstances dictate –

  CONTACTING THE WINNERS
  1. The potential winners will be contacted telephonically by the Agency on the telephone number used to enter the Competition and informed that they have been identified as potential winners. They will be required to answer verification questions (which may include but not be limited to providing the original till slip and a copy of their identity document) before they are confirmed as winners. Once the Agency has verified the potential winners’ original till slips and identity documents, the prizes will be awarded. Potential winners who are unable to provide their verification documents will automatically be disqualified from the Competition and a replacement potential winner will be drawn.
 
  1. If a selected potential winner cannot be telephonically contacted within 3 (three) months of the draw date, or a potential winner fails to provide the Agency with the required documents and information within 3 (three) months after having been contacted, such potential winner will, with the approval of the Gambling Authority, be disqualified as a potential winner, forfeit all potential prizes, and a replacement potential winner will be drawn.
 
  1. Payment of the cash prizes to the winners will be made by way of electronic funds transfer directly to the winner’s bank account or to an alternative bank account nominated by the winner if the winner does not hold their own bank account.
 
  1. Prize winners may be required to provide acknowledgement of receipt of their prize.
 
  1. The Promoter reserves the right to select alternative winners in the event that they reasonably believe, in their sole discretion, that: (i) a winner is not eligible to win; (ii) a winner has contravened any of these terms and conditions; (iii) a winner has acted in a manner that is not in the spirit of the Competition; (iv) a winner’s conduct can be reasonably interpreted as scamming or circumventing the rules of the Competition; (v) a winner has acted fraudulently with regards to the Competition; (vi) it would be unlawful to award the prize; or (vii) if the winner fails to accept the prize after 3 (three) attempts within the 3 (three) month period after the draw date, for any reason whatsoever; or if after first being contacted by the Promoter, is not again reachable within 3 (three) months of having been contacted; or fails to provide the Promoter with the required information to verify the entry or to hand over the prize within 3 (three) months of having been contacted. In these instances, the winner will be disqualified and forfeit the prize. The Promoter’s decision shall be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
 
  1. The Promoter reserves the right to announce the winners’ names publicly or on such electronic sites as it may choose, including but not limited to the Promoter’s websites, social media pages and on air. Entry into this Competition is deemed to be consent by Participants to announce their names publicly.
  PUBLICITY AND DATA PRIVACY
  1. Other than as provided in clause 25, winners have the right to decline permission to use their name or image in marketing material or participate in any marketing activity, failing which the Promoter has the right to use their name or image in marketing material or any marketing activity without any liability to the Promoter or remuneration due to the winners.
 
  1. By entering, a Participant acknowledges that personal information about the Participant will be shared with the Promoter and their agents to the extent necessary to conduct the Competition and for prizes to be delivered to winners.
 
  1. Should the Participant have elected to receive marketing communication from the Promoter and other AVI Limited Group brands, the Participant’s contact details will form part of the Promoter’s database and they will receive marketing communication on, including but not limited to, upcoming promotions, competitions and offers related to AVI Limited Group brands. The Participant’s personal information will be shared with the AVI Limited Group brands and their agents to the extent necessary to ensure they receive this communication either via email or SMS, and for prizes to be delivered to winners, for example. Should a Participant wish to remove their details from this database at any stage, please select the opt-out option made available to you or contact the Promoter’s consumer care line.
 
  1. Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to, or must be understood to, unlawfully restrict, limit or avoid any rights or obligations, as the case may be, created for either the Participant or the Promoter in terms of the law of the Republic of Botswana should any terms or conditions be found to be in conflict with any laws, they will be severable from the remaining terms and conditions contained herein.
  REGULATORY COMPLIANCE
  1. This Competition complies with all relevant requirements of the Botswana Gambling Act, 2012, and Gambling (Promotional Competitions) Regulations, 2023, with reference to the Data Protection Act, 2024.
  GENERAL
  1. All publicity materials will be the sole property of the Promoter.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, by participating, the Participant indemnifies, releases and agrees to hold harmless the Promoter, their associated, holding and subsidiary companies, and its directors, officers, agents, representatives, shareholders, employees, successors and assigns from any and all claims or liability arising from participating in the Competition, any Competition-related activity and/or acceptance, receipt, possession or use/misuse of any prize.
 
  1. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter will not be liable in any way whatsoever, for any claims arising from loss, injury, damage, or costs, suffered by a Participant in relation to this Competition or the prizes offered, or any losses caused
  by such defects or losses arising from incorrect or inaccurate information supplied by Participants.  
  1. The Promoter will not be liable for any loss suffered because of incomplete or incorrect information provided.

For radio entries Participants will have to either upload a video entry to any of their social medial accounts on Facebook and/or Instagram (“the Social Media Platforms”) or call in to the radio station when prompted on air to do so. Normal data or call charges will apply. All failed SMS’s, uploads or calls may be billed by the service provider. Potential winners will be determined in accordance with clauses 20, 22.1, and 23.1.

9. On-radio Competition:

To enter the on-radio Competition Participants may enter by way of both or one of the following mechanisms:

a. Entry mechanism 1:  

i. Buy any 2 (two) of the Participating Products to the value of at least N$50.00 (Fifty Namibian Dollars);  

ii. Make a video showing the Participating Products;

iii. Upload the video to any of the Participant’s account on any of the Social Media Platforms and tag any of the following accounts:

i. Call in to the radio station on the number that will be provided on air, when prompted to do so on air on the radio station, every Friday between 7 am and 8 am for the duration of the Competition;

ii. The radio station will randomly select callers to answer the Competition-related question;

iii. If called, answer the Competition-related question.

10. Multiple entries from the same Participant are allowed provided each entry is associated with a separate purchase and Participants are only eligible to win 1 (one) prize per valid entry over the course of the Competition.

 

11. Participants are responsible for their own costs of purchasing the Participating Products and sending the entry messages or uploading the videos or calling in to the radio station.

 

12. Only entries that comply with all the entry criteria will be accepted.

 

13. Entries generated by any form or automated means that subvert the entry process or do not conform to the terms or spirit of the Competition rules, may void the entry and may disqualify the Participant.

 

14. The cellular telephone number used to enter the in-store component of the Competition will be deemed to be the cellular telephone number of the Participant.

 

15. All correct and complete entries will qualify for and be entered into the draws.

18. The prizes are not transferable or negotiable.

 

19. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prizes for alternative prizes of equal or greater value should the prizes not be available due to unforeseen circumstances.

 

20. The prizes do not cover any costs of the winners whatsoever.

the Competition, which may also include but not be limited to providing the original till slip and a copy of their identity document, before they are confirmed as winners.  
  1. Once the Agency has verified the potential winners, the prizes will be awarded. Potential winners who are unable to be verified will automatically be disqualified from the Competition and a replacement potential winner will be drawn.
 
  1. The Agency will telephonically make 3 (three) attempts within 48 (forty-eight) hours to contact the potential winners as contemplated above. If a selected potential winner cannot be telephonically contacted personally after 3 (three) attempts, or if after first being contacted by the Agency, is not reachable, or a potential winner fails to provide the Agency with the required documents and information, such potential winner will be disqualified as a potential winner, forfeit all potential prizes and a replacement potential winner will be drawn.
 
  1. Delivery of the cash prizes will be by electronic funds transfer to the winners’ accounts and delivery of the product hampers will be arranged with each winner individually.
 
  1. Prize winners may be required to provide acknowledgement of receipt of their prize.
 
  1. The Promoter reserves the right to select alternative winners in the event that they reasonably believe, in their sole discretion, that: (i) a winner is not eligible to win; (ii) a winner has contravened any of these terms and conditions; (iii) a winner has acted in a manner that is not in the spirit of the Competition; (iv) a winner’s conduct can be reasonably interpreted as scamming or circumventing the rules of the Competition; (v) a winner has acted fraudulently with regards to the Competition; (vi) it would be unlawful to award the prize; or (vii) if the winner fails to accept the prize after 3 (three) attempts for any reason whatsoever, or if after first being contacted by the Promoter, is not reachable, or the winner fails to provide the Promoter with the required information to verify the entry or to hand over the prize. In these instances, the winner will be disqualified and forfeit the prize. The Promoter’s decision shall be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
 
  1. The Promoter reserves the right to announce the winners’ names publicly or on such electronic sites as it may choose, including but not limited to the Promoter’s websites and social media pages, or on radio. Entry into this Competition is deemed to be consent by Participants to announce their names publicly.
PUBLICITY AND DATA PRIVACY
  1. Save as otherwise provided in clause 29, winners have the right to decline permission to use their name or image in marketing material or participate in any marketing activity, failing which the Promoter has the right to use their name or image in marketing material or any marketing activity without any liability to the Promoter or remuneration due to the winners.
 
  1. By entering, a Participant acknowledges that personal information about the Participant will be shared with the Promoter and their agents to the extent necessary to conduct the Competition and for prizes to be delivered to winners.
 
  1. Should the Participant have elected to receive marketing communication from the Promoter and other AVI Limited Group brands, the Participant’s contact details will form part of the Promoter’s database and they will receive marketing communication on,
  including but not limited to, upcoming promotions, competitions and offers related to AVI Limited Group brands. The Participant’s personal information will be shared with the AVI Limited Group brands and their agents to the extent necessary to ensure they receive this communication either via email or SMS, and for prizes to be delivered to winners, for example. Should a Participant wish to remove their details from this database at any stage, please select the opt-out option made available to you or contact the Promoter’s consumer care line.  
  1. Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to, or must be understood to, unlawfully restrict, limit or avoid any rights or obligations, as the case may be, created for either the Participant or the Promoter in terms of the law of the Republic of Namibia should any terms or conditions be found to be in conflict with any laws, they will be severable from the remaining terms and conditions contained herein.
  GENERAL
  1. All publicity and other materials will be the sole property of the Promoter.

The Promoter reserves the right to shorten, extend, suspend the time period of the Competition or terminate the Competition whenever it should so choose for technical, commercial, or operational reasons, or for reasons beyond its control. Any changes to the Competition, including termination thereof, will be communicated to Participants. To the fullest extent permitted by law, by participating, the Participant indemnifies, releases and agrees to hold harmless the Promoter, their associated, holding and subsidiary companies, and its directors, officers, agents, representatives, shareholders, employees, successors and assigns from any and all claims or liability arising from participating in the Competition, any Competition-related activity and/or acceptance, receipt, possession or use/misuse of any prize.

To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter will not be liable in any way whatsoever, for any claims arising from loss, injury, damage or costs, suffered by a Participant in relation to this Competition or the prizes offered, including but not limited to claims relating to defects in the prizes or any losses caused by such defects or losses arising from incorrect or inaccurate information supplied by Participants.
 
  1. The Promoter will not be liable for any loss suffered as a result of incomplete or incorrect information provided.

By their entry into the competition participants confirm that none of the brand owners of the prizes nor the Social Media Platforms are promoters of this competition, which is in no way sponsored or administered by, or associated with any of the brand owners or the Social Media Platforms, and they fully release the
  brand owners and the Social Media Platforms from any liability in connection with this competition. Any questions, comments, or complaints regarding the competition are to be directed to the Promoter. Any product warranties attaching to the prizes from the original prize manufacturers will transfer to the winners.

  TERMS AND CONDITIONS
  1. This What’s New with I&J Light & Crispy Social Media Competition” (“Competition”) is organised and conducted by Irvin & Johnson Limited, a subsidiary of AVI Limited, including their affiliates, partners, associations and agents (“Promoter”).
 
  1. The Competition will run on the Promoter’s TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook accounts (“Social Media Accounts”).
 
  1. The Competition starts from the time of first posting of the Competition on the Social Media Accounts on Monday, 9 March 2026, and ends at 08h00 on Tuesday, 31 March 2026. Entries received after the indicated closing date will not be considered.
  WHO CAN ENTER?
  1. Participants must be 18 (eighteen) years or older (if under 18 (eighteen) years old, you must be duly assisted by your legal guardian) and have a valid identity document or passport and reside in the Republic of South Africa during the period of the Competition, up to and including the dates of determination of the winners and prize redemption dates (“Participants”/“you”/“your”).
 
  1. Participants may not enter or receive a prize if they are directors, members, partners, employees, agents of or consultants of the Promoter, their subsidiaries, holding companies, divisions and/or associated companies or of the advertising or promotion agencies or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the Promoter, or their spouses, life partners, immediate family members or business partners.
 
  1. The Competition is not open for entry by or on behalf of a legal entity and Participants cannot use the account of a legal entity to enter the Competition. Entries must be submitted by the Participant themselves and not by a third party on the Participant’s behalf.
 
  1. By entering this Competition, all Participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, which will be interpreted by the Promoter and the Promoter’s decision regarding any issue with the Competition will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
  HOW TO ENTER
  1. To enter, Participants must:
  8.1 Like the Competition post on the Social Media Accounts (being: TikTok <@i&jltd>; Instagram <@iandjltd>; and Facebook <@iandjltd>); 8.2 Answer the question “What’s new with our Light & Crispy” in the comments section of the Competition post on the Social Media Accounts (being: TikTok <@i&jltd>; Instagram <@iandjltd>; and Facebook <@iandjltd>); and, for a bonus entry, 8.3 Share the post to your story.  
  1. Participants may also follow I&J on the Social Media Accounts but this is not a condition of entry to the Competition.
 
  1. Entries must be relevant to the theme stipulated to be eligible to go into the draw.
 
  1. The winner will be determined as set out in clause 21 below.
 
  1. Entries are unlimited on condition that each entry is unique.
 
  1. Participants are required to have their own personal active TikTok and/or Instagram and/or Facebook pages.
 
  1. Incomplete, irrelevant or incorrect entries will not be eligible to be considered.
 
  1. Participants are responsible for their own costs of connecting to the Social Media Accounts. No responsibility is accepted for any entry that is not delivered, received or is delayed or damaged due to technical reasons or failure on the part of your service provider. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt.
  PRIZES
  1. A total of 6 (six) winners will be selected across the entirety of the Competition. 2 (two) winners will be selected from the entries on each of the Social Media Accounts and each such winner will be entitled to 1 (one) prize.
 
  1. Each prize consists of a R2 500.00 (Two Thousand Five Hundred Rand) LeCreuset gift voucher. The prizes will be sent by way of electronic gift vouchers to the winners’ e-mail addresses.
 
  1. The prizes are non-transferable or redeemable for cash.
 
  1. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prizes for alternative prizes of equal or greater value should the prizes promoted not be available for any reason.
 
  1. The prizes do not cover any other costs of the winner whatsoever.
  DETERMINATION OF WINNER
  1. The winners will be determined by the Promoter by random draw.
 
  1. The selection of winners will be done as soon as reasonably possible after the close of the Competition, depending on circumstances.
 
  1. The potential winners will be contacted by direct message from the Promoter to the potential winners on the social media account that a potential winner used to enter the Competition as soon as reasonably possible after the determination of the potential prize winners takes place. Participants are advised to monitor their social media accounts (and message requests) for any such notifications and ensure that their settings allow them to receive direct messages from the Promoter, failing which, the prize may be forfeited.
 
  1. The Promoter will make 2 (two) attempts to contact and notify the selected potential winner. If the selected potential winner does not respond to the notification and/or direct message by contacting the Promoter within 48 hours after first being contacted, or if after first being contacted by the Promoter, is not reachable, or the winner fails to provide the Promoter with the required information to hand over the prize, the potential winner will forfeit the prize and a replacement winner will be selected from remaining qualifying Participants. This process shall continue until all final winners have been contacted and the prizes have been awarded in terms of these terms and conditions.
 
  1. Winners will only be contacted by the Promoter’s official Social Media Accounts. The Promoter is in no way liable for any damages or losses suffered by a Participant who is contacted by or engages with any fake account purporting to represent the Promoter. Participants are encouraged to report any suspicious accounts.
 
  1. Once the winners have been finally determined the Promoter will make an announcement, including the winners’ names, on its Social Media Accounts.
 
  1. Participants must ensure that the settings on their social media accounts allow for them to participate in the Competition and for the Promoter to see their posts. The Promoter will not be liable for any “hidden” posts or entries, or any entries not received by the Promoter for any reason whatsoever. Only entries that are visible to the Promoter at the cut-off times will be considered.
 
  1. Once the Promoter has received the contact details from the potential winners, he/she will be required to furnish the Promoter with their full name, identity number and answer questions as required in terms of the Consumer Protection Act. If the potential winner qualifies, the Promoter will arrange for delivery of the prize.
 
  1. The Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner in the event that they reasonably believe, in their sole discretion, that: (i) a winner is not eligible to win; (ii) a winner has contravened any of these terms and conditions; (iii) a winner has acted in a manner that is not in the spirit of the Competition; (iv) a winner’s conduct can be reasonably interpreted as scamming or circumventing the rules of the Competition; (v) a winner has acted fraudulently with regards to the Competition; (vi) it would be unlawful to award the prize; or (vii) if the winner fails to accept the prize after 2 (two) attempts for any reason whatsoever, or if after first being contacted by the Promoter, is not reachable, or the winner fails to provide the Promoter with the required information to verify the entry or to hand over the prize.   1. Prize winners will be required to sign an acknowledgement of receipt of their prize, if applicable, and will be required to furnish the Promoter with their names and identity numbers in terms of the Consumer Protection Act.
  RESTRICTIONS ON CONTENT OF POST
  1. The Promoter reserves the right any content or its tags from any content uploaded should the content be deemed unsuitable or irrelevant by the Promoter. All content may be re-shared (or published) by the Promoter in its own discretion.
 
  1. Any content uploaded by users or Participants do not necessarily reflect the Promoter’s views or ideals. The Promoter does not warrant the accuracy of any statement made by Participants.
 
  1. Content that is uploaded must be original.
 
  1. Participants participate at their own risk and take responsibility for all content under their social media accounts and information provided.
 
  1. Content may not violate the copyright or other rights of any third party.
 
  1. Content cannot include inappropriate, offensive, illegal or obscene material or gestures (e.g., hate speech or pornographic images).
 
  1. Content cannot disparage, reflect poorly upon or otherwise adversely affect the goodwill and/or reputation of the Promoter.
 
  1. Content must be relevant to the theme of the Competition.
 
  1. Content determined by the Promoter in its sole discretion to be in violation of the preceding criteria will be void and will not result in Competition entry.
  GRANTING OF RIGHTS
  1. Participation in the Competition will require that winners’ names and social media accounts and photos be displayed on the Social Media Accounts without any liability to the Promoter or remuneration due to the winners. SHOULD A PARTICIPANT NOT AGREE THERETO, THEY SHOULD NOT ENTER THE COMPETITION.
 
  1. Participants grant to the Promoter the non-exclusive, irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable, sub-licensable right and license to use, perform, exhibit, reproduce and/or otherwise exploit the caption or image in any manner and in any and all distribution channels, venues or media now known or hereafter devised, without further notice or any compensation to Participants. Participants further agrees, upon the Promoter’s request and without compensation, to sign any and all necessary and appropriate documents so as to effect, perfect or record such grant of license rights.

Any questions, comments or complaints regarding the Competition must be directed to the Promoter.
 
  1. The Promoter is not responsible for –
  50.1 entries that are lost, late, illegible/garbled, corrupted, misdirected, defective, inaccessible, compromised, incomplete, damaged, or delayed and all such entries are void and will not result in Competition entry; and   50.2 any entry that is not delivered, received or is delayed or damaged due to technical reasons or failure on the part of your service provider.   1.
